The Bundanoon Hotel was built in 1922 and is set on 2 hectares of beautifully manicured gardens containing many cold climate species. The Pub/Hotel is in the Southern Highlands and a short distance from the Morton National Park which offers spectacular bushwalking as well as the opportunity to see the glow worms after dark in Glow Worm Glen.

This Bundanoon accommodation offers 41 rooms with different levels of pub style and hotel accommodation to suit all guests. There are ensuite rooms, shower rooms, hand basin rooms and budget rooms.

The Bundanoon accommodation also boasts a tennis court, swimming pool, full-sized Billiards table, table tennis table and cosy open fires for those cold winter nights. Racquets and sports equipment are available at the office.

The Hotel also has a restaurant/bistro and was awarded the 2012 Sydney Morning Herald Good Pub Food 3 Schooner Award.

Bikes can be hired from the Bicycle Shop and Cafe conveniently located across the road so guests can enjoy an exciting tour of the town at their pace before returning to the Hotel for a soothing hot drink in front of the open fire.

Location

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Bundanoon train station (servicing Canberra and Sydney) and across the railway line from the pretty village of Bundanoon. The Pub is an approximate 2-hour drive from Sydney via the A 31.

> There are plenty of things to see and do for adults and kids alike. The main street is very busy during Market Days on the first and third Sunday of every month.

> There are often steam train excursions from Sydney throughout the year, and the town is a favourite destination for car and motorbike clubs for weekend stays.

> Brigadoon, the Bundanoon Highland Gathering (held every April) is one of the biggest of its kind in the world, and not to be missed.

> Tulip Time is celebrated as one of Australia’s oldest and leading floral festivals. Running in mid-September, you’ll be able to enjoy tulips, stalls, music and entertainment in Corbett Gardens in nearby Bowral.

> Southern Highlands Arts Festival in November. The Highlands is renowned for its strong community of artists, drawn to the area for the fresh air, natural beauty and lifestyle which provide the perfect environment to inspire creativity. The studio doors will open the first two weekends in November for the Art Studio Trail, so visitors will be able to meet the artists, see their work in the place it was created and purchase directly from the studio door.
