The Criterion Hotel Gundagai is a historic pub, loved by locals and visitors alike. The family friendly establishment is located on the main street in the heart of Gundagai, within walking distance from the local cafe's, shops and tourist attractions.

Criterion Hotel Gundagai offers budget accommodation with a friendly atmosphere. Room types on offer include King Single, Queen and Family rooms. All the rooms have been fully renovated and are neat and tidy with televisions, toiletries, towels and linen, reverse cycle air-conditioning and separate male and female shared bathroom facilities. All guests have access to the common lounge area which features a balcony overlooking the main street (Sheridan Street) for relaxing with a cold one!

Hotel amenities include a large back deck area with a VIP lounge and a front bar. The front bar features an original oil painted mural of early Australian Bush-rangers and the Great Flood of 1852 that washed away "Old" Gundagai. There is also a bistro serving traditional pub fare seven days a week and dinner is served nightly except for Sundays. Pizza is available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights with the odd live performance taking place on the back deck. So why not join the locals, and enjoy a beverage with a delicious meal.
